Bio Summary:
2017 to present: Private home studio work, continuing in my passion for creating.
2015-2017: Owner and resident artist of public studio/gallery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Curated several group shows, hosted solo shows for self and other artists.
2013-2015: Additional studio coursework at Rogers State University, Claremore.
Participated in student shows and local art venue events.
2008-2010: Board Member of Eureka Springs School of Art.
Propelled marketing campaigns and website and social media improvements
2002-2013: Freelance design. Studio practice and extensive workshop learning.
Membership and participation in various arts organizations.
1992-2002: Employed as a graphic designer and art director at top regional firms
in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas. Won various competitive creative kudos.
1990-1992: Studied Graphic Design at OSU/IT, Okmulgee, Ok. Graduated with top honors
in my class and earned the coveted Marvin D McQueen Award.
Prior to 1992: Studied Interior Design at Tulsa Junior College. Worked in various roles in
photography studios/labs and graduated from Memorial High School in Tulsa, OK with a strong impression from the teachers and art courses provided in school.
1974: First realization that I wanted to pursue art as a personal endeavor at age 12.
Gifted my first tubes of acrylic paint and a set of sable paint brushes.
